These are what's left of them. I made doughnut holes as well, but the girls ate them before I could even get a picture. Look at that doughnut in the corner with bites taken out of it, for shame... Actually, next time I will probably just make them all doughnut holes because the girls in their weirdness think those are the only doughnuts worth eating. Anyways, if you want this recipe it's pretty much the easiest thing in the world. It's Paula Deen style. Doughnuts-Paula Deen Style Give them a whirl, their worth it. Maybe not at 4:47 am but why not if your up anyway. |

What I did this morning at 4:47 am
At our house it is a whopping 2 degrees. The cold front wasn't suppose to move in till about 7 am and it came strolling in at about 3 am. So when BJ woke up this morning at 4 am and heard and saw the freezing rain and snow on the ground, he hurriedly got dressed in his coveralls and warm gear to go check everybody's water. Because if the water troughs freeze, them heifers in deep doodoo, if you know what I mean. So as I lay there in my nice warm bed, trying to go back to sleep unsuccessfully, thinking to myself, "Man, BJ must be really cold out there", I went ahead and got up turned the kettle on so he could have something hot to drink when he got back. Turned my coffee on so I could function. I decided to make some homemade doughnuts.
