Cookie Logs

This weekend my mother and I went to Denver to see my brother, sister-in-law, and their new baby avery. While we were there, we cooked lots of frozen meals for them to eat in the next weeks when poor Lindsay is not going to feel like doing anything, much less cooking. Here is one of our creations, which I think is awesome! This is a spin off of  a Lindsay Ebenhack (shoutout) recipe idea. I mixed up chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, and peanut butter cookie dough. We then shaped them into logs wrapped them in wax paper, then foil. Writing on the foil the instuctions. Instead of rolling individual cookie balls and flash freezing them. Here is a pic of the finished product.

The idea is pull out the frozen cookie dough. Unwrap while still frozen, slice how ever many cookies you want. Cook the cookies according to original instructions, if frozen solid add a few more minutes to baking. Then wrap up the remaining log and place back in freezer. You can make 3 or 30 cookies, whatever your little heart desires.
