Sheep show!

It's that time of year again. The annual county free fair. The girls each are showing a lamb. We were washing and shearing them tonight. In a few days they will show.  Wish the girls luck!

1st day of school

The girls first day of school was Thursday.  They both were so ready to go and learn and kick BJ and I to the curb. We are very proud of our 1st and 3rd graders!

Happy birthday to me

My darling husband took me to the neatest little cabin in Medicine Park. It was very romantic and so quaint. It really was neat. He decided to take me there for my birthday sans kids. Which is pretty much the greatest present there is. :)

Mopping feet

Michael "helped" me mop today. I was to lazy to go get socks out of the drawer so I just pulled 4 socks out of the no match basket. This is what we ended up with. .. Oh well, who cares. Life is to short to care about socks.

Fashion Statement!

Yet another normality in my life. Michael making a fashion statement with one of the girls articles of clothing or accessories in this case. I feel he is working the shades quite nicely, along with the no pants look.

Farm livin is the life for me

My dad took the kids for a ride in "greenie" this afternoon.  Reese is actually driving. A little scary...Yes they are in their bathing suits. Michael is in his diaper.  Dad in his crocs. You can't do this stuff in town. I'm so glad we live in the country.  It will be even more helpful when Michael starts peeing off the porch. Because that day is coming whether I like it or not.

Contentment

This is what I saw out my kitchen window today.  The cows were so content. BJ had just fed them and there they were camped out around our house just in case he might do it again.  You can't see it but his feed truck is right around the corner.  They laid there for hours. So happy, so content. Just waiting. ...Maybe they are just a little spoiled.
