Love of Hats 2
Another child who has a love of hats is Reese. Although her hat is backwards, it doesn't matter to her. She is happy as can be. Ahh, to be young and carefree. I tell my mom all the time I miss being a child and not having to worry about anything like bills to pay, kids to feed, cows to chase, a husband to feed, etc, etc, etc.... Savor it, it goes by fast young people.

So long Denverites
This past week my brother and his wife and their 2 wonderful kids came to visit from denver. It has been so great to get to see them. It has been so long! Clark was born in April so she's just now old enough to travel. I got to hold her for the first time. It was glorious! It almost gave me baby fever. Almost...not quite. Our kids were so excited to see them. They played themself ragged every night. The girls couldn't hold Clark enough. It really was a wonderful time and they will be sorely missed. Love you guys!
Stylin' and profilin'
Another joy of Michael's is to wear hats. Today we are sporting a chamo hunting hat from Poppy's collection. Very vogue of him if I say so my self.

How Happy Are We?
Michael loves taking selfies. It brings him absolute joy. So we very frequently stop and take a pic of life.

New Boot Goofin!
Got some new boots for the year. They were on sale too! Obviously Michael could care less, he just likes the fact they went up to his knees.

Christmas Play
Our church puts on a play every year depicting the story of Jesus' birth. The girls were in it as a shepherd and a sheep. Reese decided she was going to be the best sheep ever. Sounds, movements, everything. Completely in character. It was pretty funny. She even kicked her back feet out like I guess she thought sheep do.
The play didn't last very long and the girls didn't have any lines, but I was proud of them. For once, Reese didn't flash the crowd and Riley was brave enough to stay on stage. All in all, a good night.
